Behind the Ear (BTE)

Behind the ear hearing aids or commonly known as BTE’s are ‘C’ shaped or banana shaped devices which sit behind our ear. A rubber tube connects the hearing aid to the ear canal which transmits the sound into the ear canal

Receiver in Canal (RIC)

Receiver in canal hearing aids are a modern variation of BTE’s where the speaker of the hearing aid is inside the ear canal and it connects to the main body through a small thin cable. This makes the hearing aid very discreet and are easily covered by our hair. 

RIC hearing aids are technologically most advanced hearing aids with variety of features.

In the Canal hearing aids are customised instruments according to the patients ear. They sit inside the ear canal and are partly visible.
